At eqtble, we’re on a mission is to empower companies to make more equitable decisions around their employees. We're building a people analytics platform that enables talent and people leaders to access a rich set of analytics and insights out of their existing data. We are looking for a data analyst to work closely with the founding team.
About the role
As one of our first data analysts, you'll be working closely with our Head of Data Science. Your job is to handle all things related to data - validating, visualizing, and adding new analytic capabilities to our app.
Experience we are looking for
- SQL / Data Modeling / Data Analytics
- Developing data models in DBT
- Writing lots of fun SQL code
- Bonus: People/HR analytics experience
In your first 30 days, you will:
- Align with our Head of Data Science, to understand the data model and technology stack
- Begin working on minor data-related tasks and familiarizing yourself with our people analytics solution.
- Meet the team to comprehend the broader vision and the role data plays in it.
In your first 60 days, you will:
- Gradually undertake larger responsibilities in data analysis.
- Create dashboards and data visualizations for customers.
- Debug data issues
- Collaborate with the team to define priority features and address issues.
In your first 90 days, you will:
- Take charge of improving and identifying data quality and errors.
- Utilize SQL, and potentially Python and ML techniques, to develop new insights and analytics for our clients.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate new features and insights into the product.
About you
You are comfortable working autonomously and love the challenge of going from ambiguous requirements to a well-thought-out solution.
You are excited to build a fast-growing startup from the ground up.
You are naturally curious and interested in learning!
You have 1+ years of experience as a data analyst (bonus if you worked at an early stage startup)
