Who you are
You have excellent communication skills and are great at navigating environments with many moving parts. You are an organized problem-solver with keen attention to detail. High emotional intelligence and empathy are critical to succeeding in the role.
The ideal candidate can work operationally without creating unnecessary red tape and execute tasks that have a high degree of ambiguity. Your primary responsibilities will include providing operational support for the mentors and mentees on Mentorcam and you will manage external relationships with these individuals. You care about retention and customer satisfaction. This is a high-visibility role and it's important that you thrive interacting with other people both internally and externally, have great organizational skills, and are motivated to take on an increasing amount of responsibilities as the role evolves.
Your background and skills
- 3+ years of experience in a client-facing role in customer success, support, or operations
- Experience communicating directly with external stakeholders on a regular basis
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience from a fast-growing startup is a plus
What you'll do
- Help onboard new mentors and mentees to the Mentorcam platform
- Be the customer-facing point of contact for support requests
- Proactively help ensure that mentors and mentees have a seamless experience
- Manage new customer success initiatives
