Our core product offering helps automate lending operations for financial services firms across the lending value chain. Prodigal team has deep technical talent today and we believe there is an opportunity to build an iconic vertical software business that will fundamentally impact how the multi-trillion-dollar debt industry is managed. Debt has such a massive impact on consumers and prior to Prodigal, the industry was saddled with painful, low value manual workflows, and poor customer experience. Our mission is to humanize the debt repayment process through automation and data.
What you will be doing?
- As a CSA on our growing AI/ML team, you will be building the critical NLP components used in Prodigal's Conversational Intelligence products
- Thoroughly understand the business requirement and provide high-quality output to other teams
- Utilize customer feedback to improve your algorithms and models
- Set standards for the analysis of customer-focused problems in an industrial setting
- Develop advanced and complex regexes and NLP models to enhance our speech recognition models and abilities
- Spearhead the evaluation and improvement of your regexes, algorithms and models
- Come up up with the best practices to ensure error-free data tagging and annotation
- Minimize manual tagging and use code-based tagging as much
What you should have?
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent, in a quantitative field (computer science, mathematics, natural language processing, artificial intelligence, or similar)
- 1 year of hands-on experience in a scripting language like Python is a must - (either through internships or full time roles)
- Experience with code versioning tools (GIT)
- Experience of delivering across teams - high quality and clearly documented cross-functional work
- 1 year of data manipulation using Regular Expressions (Regex) is preferred
