Overview:
We are on a mission to fundamentally transform the way humans interact with the world around them through extended reality (XR) glasses, using the latest advancements in technology to improve the lives of people in ways that were previously unimaginable.
We are looking for a technical co-founder to join our hardware and software startup. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in both hardware and software development and will be comfortable wearing many hats in a fast-paced, startup environment.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the founding team to define and execute the company's technical vision and roadmap
Lead the development of hardware and software products, including conducting market research, designing prototypes, and overseeing production and testing
Manage and mentor a team of hardware and software engineers, providing guidance and support as needed
Work closely with other departments, including sales, marketing, and operations, to ensure that technical goals align with business objectives
Act as a technical advisor and thought leader, staying up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies
Requirements:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
7+ years of experience in hardware and software development, with a track record of successfully launching products
Strong technical skills, including expertise in hardware design and prototyping, as well as proficiency in software languages such as C++ and Python
Experience leading and managing teams of engineers, with the ability to provide mentorship and guidance
Entrepreneurial spirit, with a willingness to take on new challenges and adapt to changing circumstances
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
