We are seeking a talented and motivated contract designer to join our fast-paced Y Combinator-backed startup, Terrace. As a contract designer, you will work closely with our product and engineering teams to create visually appealing and intuitive designs for our web-based application.
Terrace is a regulatory-compliant infrastructure layer and terminal that enables institutions to access DeFi. Terrace offers a curated, security-verified selection of DeFi pools across protocols and multiple blockchain networks with seamless money movement through a set of APIs and a user interface. Our mission is to remove the complexity of engaging with dozens of protocols across multiple blockchains so investors can focus on investing.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders to design and implement new features for our web-based application.
- Create wireframes, mockups, and prototypes to convey design concepts and user flows.
- Ensure that designs are consistent with our brand and style guidelines.
- Iterate on designs based on user feedback, stakeholder input, and engineering constraints.
- Deliver designs that are user-friendly, intuitive, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with our front-end developers to ensure designs are implemented correctly in the final product.
Requirements:
- At least one year of experience in graphic design, UX/UI design, or a related field.
- Proficient in design software such as Sketch, Figma, or Adobe Creative Suite.
- Strong portfolio of previous design work, demonstrating proficiency in creating intuitive and visually appealing designs.
- Experience with responsive design and designing for web-based applications.
- Knowledge of current design trends and best practices.
- Ability to work collaboratively with product managers, engineers, and stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills, including the ability to present and justify design decisions to stakeholders.
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup environment is a plus.
