About the role

  • Create and maintain PopSQL’s editorial calendar and curate all content channels (including blog, newsletters, social media channels) with the goal of informing customers and delighting our broader community with a steady stream of engaging and thoughtful content.

  • Give a voice to our customers and their successes by giving life to our very first customer program. Cultivate and work with them to share their stories in original and compelling ways.

  • Help us establish an original point-of-view in the market that cements our category position, empowers our customers, excites prospects and partners, and helps attract the best new talent.

  • Partner with product marketing, product and customer success to research, outline, and produce original persona-targeted materials and tactics that fuel break-through marketing campaigns.

  • Track and report results across content channels with the goal of continuously identifying areas for improvement and investment. 

About you

  • 4+ years experience owning content and/or customer marketing at fast-growing SaaS companies

  • Excellent communication and writing skills, with the ability to craft a compelling story. At PopSQL, we’re looking to help business teams break down silos and answer their most critical business questions faster, together. A good story is a good platform and a good platform is a good story.  

  • A passion for evangelizing how the right technologies can help business teams achieve what previously wasn’t attainable.

  • A vision on how to leverage data, research, industry trends and agencies matched with the ambition to create a B2B content-machine for the ages.

  • Familiarity with the data/business intelligence space PopSQL operates in

  • An owner, customer-whisperer who can execute in fast paced environments

  • A desire to join a team to build a company, do great work with great people and have fun while doing it.
