Computer Vision Engineer

This team is responsible for designing algorithms and artificial neural networks, and turning them into production autonomous checkout software, for the purpose of creating a reliable statistical three-dimensional model of the relevant environment in retail stores, using all available sensor and map data. This resulting World Model is used by downstream autonomous checkout software components to create a frictionless shopping experience.

This is a FULL-TIME remote role located in the Pacific Time Zone (San Francisco, CA).

What you'll do here:

Build and design camera calibration and placement systems for retail stores. Build tools for validation and visualization of computer vision models. Design and implement APIs supporting internal and external systems Be a part of ensuring our code is scalable, maintainable, and reliable. Iterate quickly on experimental systems to solve real user problems

Who you are:

You have experience developing computer vision products. You have a strong engineering background and experience with Python and optionally C++. You have a solid track record of collaborating with engineering and product teams. You have a deep understanding of building deep learning models for computer vision. You are proficient in using deep learning frameworks (like TensorFlow, PyTorch etc). You have a passion to mentor other developers through code review, design discussions, and more.
