TLDR:
Beacons is looking for a part-time Community Manager to lead the development and management of our Circle-based online community of content creators. They are responsible for building and growing this community as well as engaging with its customers and fans. The Community Manager will also be responsible for the following activities:
- Develop and execute plans to grow the number of community members
- Plan and execute community initiatives and programs that drive member engagement and foster organic interactions between community members
- Create engaging and shareable content of the community for our marketing campaigns
- Establish and maintain community key performance metrics (including web traffic to and from community) and periodically report community performance to management and key stakeholders
- Identify new marketing and outreach opportunities to bring visibility to Beacons community, products and features
- Host and participate in social events, corporate events and workshops for creators
About You:
- Have built an online or in-person communities (preferably 2+ years experience)
- Very empathetic and can build relationships with creators
- Ability to work cross functionally with product teams
- Event planning experience, including virtual and IRL events
- Strong and responsive communicator
- Love for and familiarity with content creators and influencers
- A master of Google Sheets
- Based in SF or remote in Pacific timezone
What You’d Be Working On:
- Leading the internal weekly community sync to communicate community performance and brainstorm new initiatives with the broader Beacons team
- Reviewing and approving members on our Community waitlist
- Ensuring product team(s) are posting updates and feedback requests within community
- Interacting with community member posts
- Measuring and reporting health of our community
- Writing and publishing the weekly community newsletter
