We started our company in a University of Waterloo computer lab in early 2014, graduated from Y Combinator that summer (S14 batch) and have been growing ever since. You’ll join our business development team in Canada (hive.co/careers).
We’re looking for someone who’s excited by everything ops - you’ll work alongside the CEO to build out HR, Recruiting and Finance systems. You’ll support admin work, and jump into special projects that need a driving force. We plan to double headcount in 2023 - we need a smart and energetic generalist to help us scale.
###Job Responsibilities:
Assist TA and Hiring Managers in iterating on recruiting playbooks, maintaining healthy pipelines, and onboarding new teammates
Manage HR processes for employees across Canada - including payroll, benefits, and tax efforts
Build and manage financial models, and improve budgeting and spend management
Help establish performance measurements and targets, and implement reporting and dashboarding solutions
Support accounting and bookkeeping motions
Optimize billing and collection processes
Help departments collect and analyze data to inform decisions
###Required Skills:
5+ years in a business role (finance, ops, strategy, etc)
Experience at a small tech company or a similarly fast paced environment
Comfort making decisions in uncertainty
Direct and succinct communication style
Proficiency in financial modeling and Excel
Experience with Looker, SQL & python a plus
Experience with SaaS and Martech a plus
