About the role
Firstbase.io is hiring a Channel Partnerships Lead that will handle the execution of strategies to increase sales across multiple products alongside implementing and building new strategies for the Channel Partnerships team to reach the OKR goals. Channel Partnership Lead will source, nurture and grow some of Firstbase’s most strategic partnerships to allow the collaboration between companies to be seamless and drive high-volume results across all of Firstbase’s product suites and potentially APIs.
Firstbase builds partnerships with some of the most innovative B2B companies that are solving big problems on the market. This role requires a lot of engagement and ownership, the results of a well-nurtured channel partnership team can allow Firstbase to overachieve the OKRs quarter over quarter resulting in growth through all the product lines. This is a high-responsibility position suited to manage some of the most valuable relationships within the partnerships team.

The Channel Partnership Lead is responsible for leading and allowing the channel partnership team to have the tools for success quarter over quarter alongside participating in highly strategic discussions on the strategy with leaders across different business units.

Who are we looking for
We are looking for risk-takers with diverse experience able to provide fearless feedback.
You will have the following responsibilities
- Achieve monthly and quarterly sales target quotas; source qualified opportunities and close partnerships or direct sales.
- Utilize a CRM to accurately manage the team’s pipeline, forecast, and maintain data integrity. Also, make sure that the team follows all the required processes to correctly track and manage deals.
- Enable the growth & adoption of Firstbase.io within our existing user base.
- Establish and maintain active engagement with our current partners.
- Respond to and qualify incoming inquiries regarding interest in Firstbase.io offerings.
- Craft a great first impression to our prospects and customers by adding value during every customer touchpoint, also supervising all outbound copy and communications our team launches to internal and external leads.
- Partner with cross-functional teams for specific projects.
- Engage in team development and mentoring. Collaborate between departments to launch new initiatives and partnership structures that will help us A/B test different target personas and audiences.
- Sell and explain technical products to B2B companies.
- Assist with product launches and sales structuring strategies around new and existing products.
- Set the partnership team members for success.
Minimum requirements
- 2+ years managing sales teams.
- Deep knowledge in crafting outbound strategies and sales copywriting.
- 5+ years of work experience; Tech Sales, Consulting, or business development experience at a technology company, highly preferred.
- A demonstrated track record of success identifying, negotiating, and winning business development deals.
- Experience with B2B technology sales and partnerships, including pre-call planning, opportunity qualification, objection handling, and closing opportunities.
- High integrity and a customer-first mentality.
- Positive and upbeat phone skills, excellent listening skills, and strong writing skills.
- Sales training and Hubspot experience are a plus.
- Analytical background: you can investigate and understand data to drive action and results.
- An owner’s mindset and a determination to hustle and get things done, a self-starter mindset.
