🔍 What we're looking for

We are on the hunt for a Business Development Representative. As one of the first members of this new team, you will be setting the gold standard for the BDR function and will play a pivotal role in Aleph’s future growth and success. Your primary task will be to create interest in Aleph and guide prospects to evaluate our software.

Specifically, you will be tasked with completing a high volume of phone calls mixed with omni-channel web prospecting (email and LinkedIn). You will handle lead qualification and help convert leads into clients in tandem with our Account Executives. The Business Development team is at the core of the Aleph go-to-market function and you will be closely mentored and developed by seasoned sales professionals.

👷 What you'll be doing

  • Initiate outbound calls to potential clients, introducing them to Aleph's solutions and assessing their needs

  • Craft compelling email and LinkedIn messages to engage prospects and pique their interest in exploring Aleph's offerings

  • Maintain a consistent and organized outreach schedule to ensure a steady flow of new leads

  • Work in tandem with our Sales organization to create personalized, targeted strategies to generate demand with executive leadership at target accounts

  • Collaborate with the marketing and sales teams to understand the unique selling points of Aleph and tailor messaging to resonate with executive-level decision-makers

  • Act as a liaison between prospects and the sales team, facilitating smooth transitions and ensuring the sales team is equipped with the necessary information to close deals successfully

In addition to your main tasks, you will

  • Engage in continuous learning and development

  • Stay informed about industry trends, competitor offerings, and evolving customer needs

  • Participate in ongoing training sessions to enhance your knowledge of Aleph's software and its application in addressing various business challenges

  • Contribute to the refinement of sales strategies

  • Provide feedback on the effectiveness of outreach methods and suggest improvements based on prospect responses and market dynamics

  • Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to iterate on messaging and tactics, ensuring alignment with current market demands

  • Establish and cultivate relationships with key decision-makers and influencers within prospect organizations

  • Leverage networking opportunities to expand the reach and visibility of Aleph in the target market

Your skills and experience

  • BA/BS degree (or relevant work experience)

  • Previous sales experience is preferred, but not required

  • Strong communication skills over both phone and email, and love for talking on the phone

  • Demonstrates a creative problem-solving approach

  • Passion for attention to detail and ability to accept and thrive within the gray

  • Desire to move up within a fast growing organization
