JITX is transforming hardware design by letting electrical engineers write code to design electronics. This new way of design captures expert hardware engineering knowledge and makes it reusable, and scalable like software. The ideal candidate would be a Hardware Evangelist eager to be part of a growing team, reshaping the future of electronics. You would use JITX to build new and exciting examples of design, craft content and onboard our new customers -- showing off the power of using a programming language for hardware design. Expect projects like creating small designs as quickly as possible, generating analog circuits for signal processing, scripting microvia BGA fanouts.
You’ll partner with internal and external expert electrical engineers - we want you to be customer and product focused but have some basic experience designing your own electronics. Provide a hands-on, white glove experience with new customers as they go through the trial and become a user.

Trial Activation: Take prospective customers through the trial experience, ensuring activation and gaining feedback.

Customer Onboarding: Provide ease from the first moments of use to designing the first board with customers or those on the 2-week trial. Maintaining contact, ensuring continued activation.

Community Development: Managing community and ambassador shared designs by using JITX with educational users, etc.

Write Tutorials: Write clear and compelling tutorials that document your design projects. Content Creation: Create content for social media posts, blogs, or promotion.

Circuit Board Design: Requiring 4+ years of design experience (industry) in circuit board design. Please showcase any projects!Education: Degree or degrees in Electrical Engineering.
This role is anticipated to be a Mid-Level candidate hire showcasing multiple years of industry experience additional to academic. Eligible candidates would be able to speak through a project that they took from start to finish in areas of a motor controller, FPGA board, board using a Jetson or similar SoM as examples of their work.
Preference to local Bay Area candidates will be given. This candidate will be expected to be local (or relocated from another state within the USA).
JITX provides an estimate of the salary compensation for roles that may be hired in California (Bay Area) as required by state regulations. Salary compensation for locations other than Bay Area may vary based on (a) location, as JITX factors in specific location when benchmarking compensation for most roles; (b) individual candidate qualifications; and (c) individual candidate experience. Additionally, JITX leverages current market data to determine salary, so posted salary figures are subject to change as new market data becomes available.
JITX Compensation Philosophy
Salary bands are reflective of two (2) Salary Surveys. Data is in real time, so data is always in flux due to the market. JITX follows the 75th percentile based on metros. JITX follows performance based increases based on promotion. Longevity in position will follow the market. JITX follows a performance review process twice a year (Mid Year- February and Annual - August), to keep on par with market data.

P3 Level, Salary Only
Salary - SF Bay Area
$130,000- 155,000 (75% percentile benchmark is $145,000)
P4 Level, Salary Only
$150,000- 182,570 (75% percentile benchmark is $173k)
For this role, we intend for a P3. For a candidate who fares more senior can be eligible for a P4. We have a flat org structure.
