About the Role:
As a Senior Engineer at Vendora, you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our product and technology as we scale. You will be a key driver in making strategic technical and product decisions. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our small, fast-moving team to help us scale 10x in the near future. The role is in-person in Brooklyn, NY.
Must-Have Skills:
- 3 - 5 years experience scaling SAAS product in high-growth environment
- Deep expertise in Javascript (Typescript, React.js, React Native, Node.js, Next.js) and Python
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and GraphQL
- Proficiency with AWS, Docker, and CI/CD pipelines
- Proven ability in system design, architecture, and product-oriented thinking
- Demonstrated resourcefulness and a strong ability to execute in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with developing and maintaining multi-client applications and distributed systems
- Flexibility and desire to collaborate in a fast-paced, high-performance team
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of complex systems as our customer base rapidly expands and evolves
- Drive technical strategy and decision-making, ensuring scalability, reliability, and performance
- Take ownership of major product initiatives, from concept to launch, ensuring alignment with the company’s vision
- Identify and implement best practices in software development, system architecture, and DevOps, and hold rest of the engineering team accountable to the same standard
- Engage directly with customers to understand their needs and translate those into technical solutions
Nice-to-Have:
- Strong DevOps background, including infrastructure as code, automation, and monitoring
- Experience in data engineering, including data pipelines, ETL processes, and large-scale data storage solutions
- Knowledge of machine learning engineering, including working with LLMs and open-source ML models
- Experience developing for Windows platforms
