Frontend Software Engineer

Engineers on the team today:

• Work in Python and Typescript mainly
• Are supportive—especially when teammates are faced with new challenges
• Are left to autonomously figure out the solutions to their challenges
• Put themselves in the shoes of our users to craft a great experience
• Value clear, frequent communication (we do a lot of reading & writing)
• Are naturally curious and willing to take a step to learn something they don’t have experience in
• Strive to be collaborative, are willing to drop things to jump on a problem with a struggling teammate and enjoy working as a team
• Feel a great sense of accountability to each other
• Are resourceful, often thinking outside of the box
• Uphold best practices in engineering, security, and design

Skills & Experience

• 5+ years of working full-time as a software engineer
  • Python and Typescript experience required
  • Knowledge about web applications and their backends
• Knowledge of web frontend performance optimisation (PDF viewer as a bonus)
  • Experience building a web based product

Things you would work on:

• Ensuring that Provision’s web application is a great experience
• Creating quick-turnaround solutions to test out new features with customers
• Contributing to a document processing engine that turns hundreds of documents into a search utopia
