We're looking for an individual to complete a refactor of our application. This work has already started (so there is a structure in place) and we're looking for a full-stack engineer to complete the work.
About the Project
The new application uses the following web technologies:
- Python + Flask
- PostgreSQL
- SvelteKit + TailwindCSS
In addition, you will be moving over existing code which:
- Integrate with the Quickbooks Online API
- Run jobs via AWS Batch
The existing app is working today, using Flask. The goal is to migrate it to the new framework based on SvelteKit along with modernizing the architecture (using Pydantic for models and Python type hints).
The size of the application is not very big, but it will take some time to port.
Timeline and Rate
- Timeline: 1 week, daily check-ins
- Fixed project fee: $5,000
About You
This role is for a senior full-stack engineer. Please be proficient, and able to show examples, using:
- Flask and PostgreSQL
- SvelteKit
- Tailwind CSS
- AWS Batch (or Lambdas, or similar Amazon offering)
