Overview
Signadot is a platform for testing microservices-based applications using ephemeral sandbox environments in Kubernetes.

We are looking for a Developer Relations Engineer to help build community accessible software, examples and documentation for the Signadot solution. You should be interested in the DevOps and Kubernetes space and be seasoned at writing clear code and documentation. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter, fast worker and excited about growing a company from the ground up. You will report directly to the CEO. We are open to full and part time candidates from anywhere in the world.
Key Responsibilities
Create and document SDKs, product integrations, and sample applications for the free Signadot version, enabling and illustrating how DevOps and software engineers developers can build automated testing for their microservices. Your responsibilities will include:

Write working code and test your documentation, focusing on the languages of your expertise.

Write compelling content including blog posts, long form articles and diagrams to accompany your work.

Engage with your software engineering peers over social media to educate others on how to solve their challenges using Signadot.
For example:
- After 30 days you’ll have published one blog post and accompanying documentation as well as engaged with peers over social media.
- At 60 days you’ll have published several guides using Signadot with common languages and tutorials integrating with third party applications.
- At 90 days you will have created an application and documentation digging deeper into advanced testing strategies.
Additionally, you will:
- Engage with the Signadot community in Slack, StackOverflow, social media and in-person events.
- Update and revise technical documentation.
- Explore other forms of content creation, including video, webinars, etc.
Qualifications
- Experience working with the Developer and DevOps community
- Knowledge of cloud native development processes
- Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly dynamic environment
Bonus Points
- Experience with Kubernetes is highly desired
