Senior Machine Learning Engineer

Dioptra is an early-stage VC backed Data Centric MLOps startup thriving to automate the end to end model lifecycle for Computer Vision and NLP.

Dioptra was founded by an experienced cross functional team (ex Spotify, Yahoo, IBM Watson). We are looking for founding engineers that will help us build our infrastructure and product from the ground up.

What you'll do:

Design, build and own the core algorithms powering our product. Architect and build core ML infrastructure platforms to handle production scales of machine learning data. Keep up with state-of-the-art knowledge in Active Learning, Self Supervised Learning and Explainable AI. Help develop an intuitive user experience for ML practitioners. Promote sound engineering practices and fun culture as we grow the team.

You may be a good fit for this role if:

• You have 6+ years of relevant experience or 3+ yrs with a PhD
• You have a deep understanding of ML and deep learning in particular.
• You have previous experience building and deploying CV, NLP or ASR models in production.
• You are comfortable working on challenging problems, in ambiguous, rapidly changing environments.
• You want to have a large impact on the business as an early member of the team.
• You have experience with some / all of the following technologies: Python, SQL, TensorFLow, Pytorch, Numpy, Scikit Learn, pandas, Kubernetes, Docker.
