NP at Digital Health Startup

Alfie Health is a telehealth-based weight loss program that uses precision medicine to optimize complex care for obesity. NP providers will work under a licensed physician to order labs, meet with patients, prescribe medications when appropriate, and monitor ongoing health of the patients located in the licensed state(s).

The role is part-time contracted work.

Responsibilities

• Examine patients and their medical records
• Order and study diagnostic tests (blood tests)
• Diagnose health conditions and illnesses
• Propose treatments for chronic diseases
• Prescribe medications
• Maintain accurate records and schedules
• Inform patients about their health conditions and prescribed medications
• Educate patients and their family members on diseases, epidemics and prevention
• Oversee patients’ overall health
• Promote good health practices
• Advance professional knowledge

##Requirements:

• Active NP license in the state of NY/NJ or active NP license in the state of CA
• Active DEA license in the state of NY/NJ or active DEA license in the state of CA
• Experience conducting telehealth visits
• Experience in digital health and communication on platforms such as Slack

##Salary Range $35 - 50 / hour
