You'll love work here, because You'll be part of an awesome team of currently five experienced developers, most junior team member has ca. 5 years experience, most senior 20yrs+. Day-to-day you'll also be working together with the world-class product team to build amazing features expanding our product and maintaining existing features. The team has a mix of experiencee, e.g. from Google, NetApp and Matches Fashion, some are office-based and some are remote.

You'll also enjoy frequently (weekly+) shipping features and you get a lot of satisfaction on working on a product which is continuously improving and taking ownership about whatever you'll be working on.
The key product is a web application plus private and public APIs as well as an ERP integration using AWS Lambdas. Our tech stack is Nodejs, AWS, React, CircleCI and our main database is Postgres. We follow weekly sprints and use JIRA for day-to-day product management.
The Opportunity We build cool software for logistics companies (One of the biggest industry in the world) and we're a Series A startup with $9.5 million in funding from Y Combinator, Mosaic, and AME Cloud (Fund of Yahoo founder). We've grown from 12 to 34 employees and are now looking for a new backend developer to help accelerate our growth.

The Company Shipamax is building Stripe for back office automation in logistics organisations.
When goods are physically moved around the world, there can be up to 20 companies involved in the transaction. This is a complex and messy process, where different systems & teams have to collaborate to get the job done - creating a mountain of manual work.
Shipamax extracts data from logistics documents, and turns it into a standardised, machine-readable format. This saves companies hours of manual data entry, improves accuracy and frees up teams to focus on skilled, value-add activities.
Today, we provide plug & play automation to some of the world's largest logistics companies who are constrained by manual admin. We're already processing 30 million emails and attachments annually, but we're just getting started - our vision is to enable seamless orchestration of global trade.
