Services Solutions Consultant - is responsible for the positioning and selling of its professional services offerings and for the strategy to drive PS (Professional Services) bookings & revenue growth through the collaboration with Pure sales, pre-sales, legal, and operations teams to position the required services for our customers. This involves selling services to existing & new Pure customers, creating sales campaigns, pipeline development, and the achievement of the APJ/Regional PS sales quota.


  • Responsible for Professional Services booking & revenue cross the different services offerings (Advance Services/Business Critical Services/Deployment Services)
  • Strategically drive services inclusion presenting to customers in enterprise/commercial accounts in close synergy with the sales teams to achieve services bookings/revenue target.
  • Build, track, maintain and forecast an opportunity pipeline, forecasting and maintaining services opportunity close plan.
  • Consistent achievement of services quota
  • Conduct discovery sessions with sales, presales, and/or the client directly to determine the best Professional Services solutions that drive the right customer's outcomes migrating to Pure.
  • Negotiation, creation of statement of works; proposal/deal review process, including presentation of the business case for management approval
  • Participation in strategic account planning sessions and the development and updates of the subsequent service to the overall strategic accounts plan with the account team.
  • Proactively engage the Sales, SE (Systems Engineers), and Product teams within the regions on current and future opportunities, while cultivating a professional and consultative relationship with the customer, at the executive level.
  • Take on a leadership role in analyzing requirements and performing advanced solution designs across a breadth of Pure and Hyperscaler products and services.


  • Ability to manage workload and activity to achieve and exceed quarterly Professional Services targets. Strong working knowledge of services sales process, including the identification of customer needs and required outcomes, the ability to position services offerings including migration services, services design workshops, dedicate services, and support account managers to enterprise customers.
  • Ability to capture business requirements, critical success factors, internal capabilities, timelines, and solution components to successfully position products & services projects/programs and present them to the executive level.
  • Demonstrated experience in selling and closing large, services-solutions-oriented opportunities by building and influencing relationships with Sales Reps, Channel Partners, Systems Engineers, and Clients.
  • Ability to scope required services individually and/or in working with Professional Services delivery teams to transition detailed SOW, engagement expectations, key business contacts, stakeholders, and key elements of the sold services.
  • Experience in participating in services proposals (RFQs, RFIs, RFPs), effective services contract negotiations, appropriate/applicable interpretation of contract terms and conditions, issue identification, and risk mitigation.
  • Working knowledge of services Go-to-market Motions across both Enterprise and Commercial accounts.
  • Delivering a quarterly booking target and forecasting accurately to PS leadership
  • Good to have on the strengths and weaknesses of key competitors in the data storage industry and how to leverage this knowledge with our services position.
  • Excellent verbal, presentation, and written skills with executive presence
  • 10+ years as a Consulting/Services sales professional in data management, with focused experience selling into Enterprise accounts.
  • 5+ years designing solutions including virtualization, storage, security, and networking
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • Up to 50% travel is possible
