ABOUT THE JOB

The Content Writer is responsible for the creation and publication of content marketing collaterals for the product.

Responsibilities:

Content Production & Management

• Write/produce content intended for online use, which may include core website content, meta tags, articles, press releases, company updates, promotions, affiliate banners, blogs and other visual content types for posting in various web platforms
• Perform the necessary research to fully understand the nature of the business and subsequently produce appropriate, high quality content
• Adhere to content writing guidelines
• Ensure content submitted is unique i.e. not copied from the internet or any other source
• Meet at the very least the number of pieces determined and set by the superior
• Edit own work prior to submission to ensure that content is error-free and that all requirements are met
• Publish content using a CMS before the deadline set by the superior
• Help in the distribution of written content to various platforms, if needed
• Produce content needed in link-building tasks such as guest posting, outreach activities, niche-relevant social bookmarking, and where necessary
• Community Interaction & Engagement

• Leverages the brand's social media accounts for the content marketing initiatives and fosters community engagement
• Politely responds to queries or comments, and clearly communicates to customers

Others Responsibilities:


• Ensures the assigned tasks are completed within the specified time frame and in compliance with the standards
• Up-to-date with the latest trends and best practices in online marketing
• Utilizes strong analytical ability to evaluate end-to-end customer experience across multiple channels and customer touch points
• Able to create sound assessments/judgments and requires minimum supervision
• Performs ad-hoc duties as required, or as directed by the superior

Requirements:

• Degree in Communication, Literature, Journalism, Marketing, or other related field
• Previous work experience in writing, blogging, and marketing
• At least 2 years of relevant work experience
• Outstanding spoken and written English communication skills
• Proficient in MS Office Applications and Multimedia Applications (Graphic design, photo and video editing tools)

Preferred Skills:

• Speed typing score of at least 55 WPM
• Industry exposure to online marketing particularly SEO
• Industry knowledge in gambling/gaming particularly online sports betting
