The Job
In this role, you will be part of our Infrastructure team and provide DevOps support to the broader engineering teams.
The role will be responsible for :
Designing, developing and delivering scalable and automated services and architecture - Infrastructure as code.
Designing and implementing solutions with AWS Services.
Automating software delivery pipelines for various applications and services.
Ensuring full-stack software solutions are architected and delivered using industry-leading DevOps best practices and technologies
Collaborating with the team to define best practices and standards around DevOps and service resilience.
Creating reusable automation libraries that can be applied across the business.
Participating in architectural discussions to ensure solutions are designed for successful deployment in the cloud.
The Profile
You have at least 2 years of operating on large scale production environments (AWS required) or building and running highly available AWS environments.
You ideally have exposure to other cloud providers (GCP, Azure) and AWS Services (EC2, Beanstalk, RDS, Lambda, ElasticCache), AWS Networking and Security, *nix Administration, Automation Tools (Terraform, Packer, Gradle, Jenkins).
You are familiar with working in a remote/distributed team and 24/7 system management requirements.
You are an energetic team player who works well across the business and readily adapts to change.
You are confident of your skills and willing to share what you know, while learning from others.
You have a strong desire to learn new technologies and keep up to date with the fast-moving changes.
You are able to develop quality code in your own right – that is, be able to lead by example on a daily basis.
You anticipate long-term issues and problems, but also build for the present.
You are able to work independently in a team environment
You possess outstanding verbal and written communication skills
