Job Description
Client, a leading AI-driven Global Supply Chain Solutions Software Product Company and one of Glassdoor’s "Best Places To Work” is looking for a Solution Architect for our Professional Services group.
What you will do:
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.
Provides advice to customers regarding industry best practices and process methodology.
Assists Project Manager(s) in planning efforts.
Ability to estimate effort of task level implementation activities that are within the scope of the project and recommend appropriate role to execute those tasks.
Able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints.
Can demonstrate and facilitate integration discussions of product functionality and product architecture (i.e. Show data and process flow from one client's solution to another).
Conducts/leads business process analysis or design, construction, validation, and deployment phases of the project.
Lead the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements.
Strong domain knowledge to understand how the client's solutions within area of focus can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes.
Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project.
Supports the development and execution of test scripts to ensure client's software consistently meets the customer's business objectives.
Provides level 2 non-technical support during the "go-live" period.
Provides level 2 user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity.
Recognizes and highlights incremental revenue opportunities with existing customers/projects.
Serves as a functional liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, Solution Architects, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors.
Ensures knowledge transfer is conducted with key customer project team.
Communicates business cases to PMG and PD regarding customer specific needs related to product functionality and enhancements.
Interacts with PMG & PD regarding new releases and new functionality and act as the liaison to communicate to the rest of the team.
To be successful for the role, you will need to have:
5+ years of hands-on experience in planning solution
Strong business analysis skills, understanding and usage of statistical algorithms, awareness of tactical planning on overall supply chain required
Advanced degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Logistics or Operations Research preferred. A combination of Bachelor’s degree and relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of advanced degree
Ability to prepare and deliver presentations for user, management, and executive level audiences.
Strong verbal, written and interpersonal skills required in Japanese and English
Experienced in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions
Ability to work independently and be effective/proactive in a relatively unstructured environment
Ability to develop and maintain strong, productive relationships with customers, partners and consultants
PMP certification preferred.
Preferred Experience in the SCM industry; Proven experience working as a Project Manager or similar capacity.
Deep understanding of Mfg & retail business processes, with specific work experience in these business areas.
Ability to resolve complex problems with little to no guidance
Well organized and consistently meets commitments.
Willing to travel according to customer project needs
Required Citizenship / Work Permit / Visa Status
Japanese Citizens /Natives
1. Domain Exposure – Supply Chain Management is mandatory. In addition, have previous experience in industry like Manufacturing/ Retail. 2. Language – Fluency in English (Written & Verbal) is required, although Japanese would be the frequently used mode of communication. 3. Exp level – 10 to 20 yrs would be the ideal fit
