You will be responsible for:
Managing a portfolio of engagements to deliver high quality audit services.
Providing leadership on audit engagements, with a focus on US clients which includes engagement planning, execution and finalisation of an audit engagement.
Being fully accountable for the audit engagement and ensuring that the engagement process against budget and timeline is closely monitored.
Developing and maintaining long-term client relationships.
Reviewing and providing key technical expertise to ensure the quality of audit work performed is in compliance with professional standards and requirements.
Undertaking a role in professional development activities such as training, staff recruitment and performance management.
You have a Degree in Accountancy with a recognised professional qualification
You have at least 6 years of relevant work experience with minimum 1 year in a managerial capacity, preferably from an international accounting firm
You must have experience working on US listed companies
You possess excellent working knowledge of US GAAP, US GAAS, PCAOB and SEC requirements
You have a good understanding of corporate governance, regulatory compliance, audit standards and accounting principles
You have excellent communication skills to work effectively and efficiently across all levels
You possess a positive “can do” attitude to challenges and the agility to multitask effectively across competing priorities.
You pay strong attention to detail and deliver work of high standard
