Contribute to the strategic direction of the firm
Our client is an early stage HR Tech startup that aims to use leverage data to transform the Human Capital industry.
Developing scripts to process structured and unstructured data.
Recommending, developing and implementing ways to improve data reliability, efficiency and quality.
Supporting translation of data business needs into technical system requirements.
Working with the Founders to understand needs in order with respect to data structure, availability, scalability and accessibility.
Defining the strategies, priorities and standards for managing enterprise data.
Leveraging modelling techniques to identify, analyse and present actionable data to drive business decisions.
You possess an advanced degree in Computer Science, Applied Mathematics, Engineering or related field.
You have prior experience ideally within a Chief Data Officer/ Head of Data Sciences or Data Engineer role.
Demonstrated experience working with large and complex data sets as well as experience analyzing volumes of data.
This includes strong experience in leadership roles managing data and analytics teams and evangelizing the value of data analytics to multiple stakeholders across a business.
Expertise in Artificial Intelligence (Neural Networks, Fuzzy Logic, Evolutionary Algorithms), Machine Learning and Hadoop Ecosystem (Hadoop, Spark, Map/Reduce, YARN, Hive, Pig ,Impala/Drill etc.) would be highly valuable.
