Our client is a young co-living startup with growing presence in Singapore and Jakarta. They aim to provide affordable and stylishly furnished properties for young people to rent in flat-shares. They have a seamless end-to-end rental process that covers everything from utilities to weekly cleaning. In addition, they aim to build a strong community with regular community events to increase tenant interaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for deploying and improving operations procedures to ensure all co-living buildings run smoothly and our tenants have a great experience.
You will also be responsible for:
Structuring, deploying, monitoring and improving operations standard facilities management protocols, operating procedures and service level agreements
Researching, implementing, deploying and monitoring key operations-related systems
On-boarding new properties into the our portfolio
Dealing with all maintenance issues reported by tenants
Ensuring tenants are checked-in and out of their properties
Tracking and reporting key KPI metrics for the operations team in relation to internal performance as well as performance of external vendors
Supporting the Director in assessing viability and implementation of more complex ad hoc projects (ie. furniture sourcing and logistics, in-housing or outsourcing of key vendors/functions, country/sector/market research & analysis, etc.)
Supporting the Director in the day-to-day management, recruitment and performance monitoring of the operations team
Liaising effectively with other internal teams (ie. real estate, marketing, etc.)
Managing facilities management staff at our co-living buildings
You have a Degree, ideally in Business.
You have at least 3 years experience in facilities management, hospitality, asset management, construction or related industry
Having experience in an early stage startup and people management would be an added advantage.
You have experience managing facilities in the retail/hospitality sector
You have excellent project management, organization, and written skills
You have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
