Your role as Sales Director in the mid-sized business space, you are responsible for leading and managing a team in a way that aligns to the broader goals of the Maddox business in ASEAN. Responsibilities are consistent, repeatable sales engagement across all territories, segments and routes to market. This ensures that we attain a highly effective mode of operation locally and regionally to sell Maddox products and services direct to the companies’ most strategic, complex accounts. As a member of Maddox and its senior management, the Sales Director would be responsible for defining and executing the software selling to accounts strategies.
Primary Duties & Responsibilities:
Lead sales team to drive growth by achieving annual targets set
Identify market potential for data security and set sales strategies to capture the potential
Achieve broader business objectives with strategic team by defining routes to market for sales and then executing plans for both direct plus channel sales motions into market
Communicate market requirements, competitive data like pricing and feature needs, license models plus value proposition strategies to stakeholders and senior management
Demonstrate strong product and market knowledge so as to articulate our value proposition
Provide day-to-day guidance to sales professionals in matters of sales strategies, competitive analysis and pricing relating to Maddox business
Build relationships within accounts and build on existing IT/GSIs Relationships
Manage customer expectations and ensure customer satisfaction by achieving delivery/service quality norms
Strong market knowledge of Cyber/Data Security and up-to-date with industry trends
Understanding of partner economics, business models and motivations for customer success
10-15+ years of experience with Account & Customer Relationship management skills in domains of Enterprise Security like IT Risk Management, Application / Data Security, Security Analytics etc.
Specialized in positioning and selling IT Solutions on varied domains of cyber and data security
Strong understanding and proficiency with cyber/data security solutions’ internal processes and tools as well as working level understanding of product, licensing and partner programs
Delivered extensive Sales, Consulting and Pre-sales in the domain of Cybersecurity
Outstanding communication skills written, oral and facilitation
Experience in pipeline building including planning, gaining senior sponsorship, delivering training, sales coaching and timely execution/follow-up
Demonstrated track record of recruiting, training, coaching, motivating and retaining a successful group of sales and/or referral partners
Planning and financial skills including prospecting, business planning, account mapping, and knowledge of the partner ecosystem including pipeline management and forecasting
Min. 10-15 years of sales and account experience AND a minimum of 8 years sales leadership and management experience preferably in the Information Technology, Cybersecurity
Experience in managing teams that sell complex technical business solutions B2B and strong understanding of business drivers for cybersecurity solutions in such organisations
An understanding of overall business functions and impact of technical decisions on business results
High degree of motivation and professionalism with advanced organizational, project management, negotiation, change management, problem solving skills, process management, leadership, coaching, mentoring, resource management, and team building skills
Ability to train and coach sales team, including pre-sales and partner team that work in the same enterprise market space
Bachelors degree required; Masters degree preferred
