Learn the difference in start-up loans and loans for existing businesses, the importance of credit score, why interest rates vary, and where to start in order to figure out how much you can afford.
This class will focus on your learning about all the business service products that banks offer to help small businesses be successful.
We will cover:
-Business lending process/ access to loans for small businesses
-Deposit/ Business Bank Account Service
You will walk away understanding the importance of separating your personal and business finances, keeping your business up to date with the right technology, and knowing your credit options when the need arises.
We will also go over effectively managing your cash flow, having insurance to protect you from the unexpected, and the importance of hiring the right employees.
This class will be taught in collaboration with BB&T and Stuart Walters, a WBC Business Consultant with over 30 years of banking experience. He has helped countless small businesses access the capital needed to start and/or expand their businesses!
10% of the net sale of every ticket for training organized by the Women’s Business Center of Fayetteville will be dedicated to a scholarship fund for entrepreneurs who may need assistance to start on the journey to business ownership. Does not apply to orientations, free events, and other special events.

The WBC program is designed to assist socially and economically disadvantaged females start and/or expand small businesses. Join us to learn how we can help you, learn more about the typical pitfalls for small businesses, and how to start on the right foot to plan to sucCEED!
Instructors: CEED staff have been trained by The Small Business Administration. Every staff member has business experience ranging from ownership to banking.
