Developing and Managing Effective Nonprofit Boards
As the governing body of a nonprofit, an effective and enthusiastic board of directors or board of trustees can make all the difference. This workshop will review best practices, tips and tools for several elements of the successful board. These include nomination, cultivation and recruitment practices; board orientation, assessment, strategic planning, fundraising, fiscal oversight, board/staff relations, effective meeting and reporting strategies, and more. Presented by Pam Blevins Hinkle in the Knall Meeting Room.
