The award ceremony, which will be hosted for the third consecutive year this year, is scheduled to take place on 14th November 2018 at the Grand Ballroom of Palace of the Golden Horses.
The SME & Entrepreneurship Business Award is an initiative set up to recognise Malaysia’s most outstanding entrepreneurs and enterprises, while uncovering growing talents and upcoming companies that are transforming the industries they operate in.
Some of the past award recipients include Tony Fernandes of AirAsia, Patrick Grove of Catcha Group, Anthony Tan of Grab, and many others.
Founder Nitesh Malani, adds that MyPreneurship hopes to support the country’s SME business landscape by harnessing the experience and expertise of the award recipients to share with others, as role models to learn from and be emulated.
“It is critical for SMEs to connect and collaborate on a synergistic platform for mutual benefit. Not just an award, SEBA 2018 is a catalyst for entrepreneurs to grow together with their team members and to meet other like-minded entrepreneurs through MyPreneurship’s year-long programmes to educate, train and mentor entrepreneurs.”
The advisory board that will be providing strategic counsel to SEBA 2018 comprise key individuals known for their strengths in entrepreneurship and business acumen.

Tan Sri Dato' Ahmad Fuzi Haji Abdul Razak (Secretary General of the World International Economic Forum), Nitesh Malani (Founder of Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia | MyPreneurship), Shahfie Ahmad (Vice President of Yayasan Usahawan Malaysia | MyPreneurship), Lyndia Wong (Organising Chairperson of SEBA 2018), Zhariff Afandi (Malaysian Youth Icon & International Motivator), Kishva Ambigapathy (Chairperson of Commonwealth Youth Council), Dr Zyro Wong (Celebrity Speaker & Branding Guru) and Nadira Yusoff (President of Women Entrepreneur Association Malaysia).
