Founded in 2010, iQIYI has quickly rose to become one of the most popular video streaming platforms in China.

Last year, the company generated total revenues of $4.2 billion, rising 16% year-on-year, with over 106.9 million subscribers.

“We will be expanding (into) a whole range of functions here. For our company, we come with content, so content is going to be a big part of the functions that are here in Singapore. In addition to that, we will also have sales, marketing, and business development… making sure we are engaging global audiences”, mentioned Kuek Yu Chuang, iQIYI’s vice-president for its international business.
