LOCA’s network of 300 cars in Laos capital, Vientiane, is the major ride-hailing service application in the region, pushing its competitor, DriveUp in the sideline.
Its consistent 10%-30% monthly growth is a testament to its success in this market.
At MIST, LOCA will be featured in the travel tech venture category, alongside similar services — Ticket 2 Asia from Cambodia, Get Ride from Myanmar, Golf Digg from Thailand, and Go Eat Me from Vietnam.
As tourism in Laos is budding, LOCA aims to provide the surging tourists traveling convenience with its ride-hailing service.
LOCA co-founder and chief technical officer Souliyo Vongdala said:
“LOCA has helped many tourists to get around Vientiane easily and safely. During the day and night, tourists are confident about using LOCA as a means of transport.”
