EatFun, a new Malaysian startup is on a mission to create livelihoods for millions of home-cook chefs by bringing their cuisines to peoples' doorsteps.
Dubbed the digital restaurant for home-cooked meals, EatFun is an app that let's people easily order a wide assortment of affordable home-cooked meals from a curated list of chefs.
Payments can easily be made via Bank Wire, Credit Card, or Cash on Delivery.
EatFun today has over 220 chefs on their platform, offering thousands of different cuisines to choose from.
In fact, many of the chefs on the platform are actually homemakers who have exceptional cooking skills and are looking for ways to earn additional income.
"Many of these home makers are incredible chefs. We wanted to create a platform that could help them make additional income, while allowing people to try their awesome recipes.", mentioned CY Lai, founder of EatFun.
In May alone, EatFun delivered over 1800 boxes of home-cooked meals and aims to make 3000 deliveries this June.
Moving forward, EatFun aims to close a round of funding by August to expand across Malaysia and eventually SouthEast Asia to become the digital restaurant and cloud kitchen ecosystem for the region.
