Semuts is initiated to solve the 5 main problems existing in the current procurement ecosystem, namely the sourcing & purchasing function. The 5 main problems identified are as follows:
1. Time consuming process of sourcing in offline and also online channels.
2. Limited pool of suppliers.
3. Conflicting roles in sourcing between the purchaser and end-user consisting mainly the technical person.
4. Inefficient allocation of human capital as lot of manual and administrative works in sourcing and purchasing.
5. Lack of transparency due to no real time monitoring and control of sourcing and purchasing function.
Our proposed solutions are single & unified platform for sourcing, eliminate administrative works & paperwork and real time monitoring and control of sourcing via Semuts.com sourcing network.
