India International Dance Congress
India International Dance Congress is an annual event bringing together the world’s best Latin dancers
and enthusiasts all over the world. Event houses workshops, bootcamps, performances, parties and
Asia-open championship. Event features artists such as “The Mambo king” Eddie Torres Sr, Billy Fajardo
(lead performer of the Dance Dimensions, the internationally acclaimed dance company who appeared
on Don Kirshner’s Rock Concert from 1978-1992), Adolpho Indacochea, Alien Ramirez, Tania Cannarsa (
of the Hollywood movie Love N Dancing Fame).
IIDC is dedicated to create a quality platform for the young Latin dance enthusiasts to meet the best in
the world. There is a very active and dedicated Latin dance community around the world.
IIDC was founded by Mr.John Anthony. John has a strong following and is known throughout India
and beyond as a talented, passionate, and charismatic dance instructor. He is known for his
impactful methods that provide energy and simplicity. John also successfully runs Goa International
Latin Festival (GILF). Two commercially successful events which have earned a tremendous
reputation and following among dance channels throughout Asia. John was the first person to host a
World Championship in a Non-Latin country. He has been the primary source of efforts to put INDIA on
the global map of Latin dancing and making INDIA one of the most sought after destinations for Latin
dancing in the world.
