Last year, the Philippines experienced typhoons and droughts that damaged hundreds of thousands of hectares of farmland, costing billions of pesos worth of crops and affecting hundreds of thousands of farmers.

With more than a fifth of the country in poverty and with an overpopulation crisis looming, the country's agricultural sector is in dire need of major upgrade.

Hayaman tries to contribute by developing modern agricultural methods here in the Philippines at the industrial and commercial scale. By blending controlled-environment agriculture technology, modern urban and vertical farming methods, and aeroponic systems, Hayaman leads the country to a more sustainable and efficient approach to food production.
